My great uncle (my maternal grandmas brother) passed away in 1994 at the age of 86 years. He gave me this beautiful old leather bound photo album.
Possibly the album belonged to my Herz ancestors of Kuppenheim originally. But this is just a guess due to the heart [heart = Herz], I think it's a heart, on the front of the album and the fact that Kuppenheim is very close to the Alsace, France.
Pictures were taken at Strassbourg and Hagenau, Alsace, France; Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Mosbach, Heidelberg / Schwetzingen, Baden, Germany; Eilenburg; Heilbronn, Württemberg; Ingolstadt, Bavaria.
